Shakatak - “Down On The Street”
Shakatak are a British jazz-funk band, founded in 1980. They scored a number of chart entries, including two Top Ten hits in the UK Singles Chart, “Night Birds” (1982) and “Down on the Street” (1984) plus a further 12 entries in the Guiness book of British Hit Singles.
Classic. What a tune. I love Shakatak.

Trivia Bit 05/09/12: Code-breaking in WWII
The Daily Telegraph helped the British Secret Intelligence Service find code-breaking recruits during World War II. The newspaper held a crossword puzzle competition in which contestants were challenged to solve a tough puzzle in under 12 minutes. The War Office recruited the winners.
